One of the best Vietnamese food in OC that I’ve ever tried. This was my first time here at Quan Ngon but definitely will coming back many times more! All the food we tried were beyond expectations. All were freshly made and up to standard. The staffs are very friendly and helpful; fast service and lovely decoration. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

Good authentic Vietnamese foods. Remind me of all the foods I had in Vietnam. Highly recommended their Bun rieu & pha lau. Their banh khot looks so delicious, so sad it was sold out when we came. We will definitely be back to try more dishes on the menu!

The dishes I tried are all good. The prices are a bit overpriced but the quality and the quantity come with it.

UPDATED REVIEW: Nov 22, 2021 They definitely up'd their game since the last time. Bun Rieu is still the best I've had. Everything else tonight was super flavorful & made with the freshest ingredients. The customer service is still down to earth, welcoming & friendly. Kept checking on me to make sure I wasn't lacking anything. Most definitely be back again. Thank you! ********************************************************* First time here with my family for dinner. I appreciated how Chin, the owner, personally came over to check on us & see how everything was. Very friendly & genuinely interested in our opinions & how he can further enhance our dining experience. That itself was worth 5 stars. The staff was all very friendly & accommodating too. The reason I gave only 4 stars though was for the overall food rating of each meal from my family. My Bun Rieu was very good! It had a very tasty broth with a spicy kick to it. Unusual for this dish. The Grilled Chicken with Fried Sticky Rice Balls was also very good! The perfectly grilled chicken was complimented by the fluffy, crispy rice balls with a touch of sweet honey. The Hu Tieu Bo Kho had a savory thick broth. Much better with the rice noodles than the usual bread. Now for why only 4 stars instead of 5. I recommended the Com Ga Hai Nam Saffron to my brother because of the many good reviews & posted pics of the good sized chunk of chicken. I was disappointed when it was brought out & instead of a good chunk of chicken on his plate, there were small broken pieces with barely any chicken on them. Almost as if that was the last of the chicken for the night. The other let down was the Bun Bo Hue. The broth/soup was lacking in the traditional spicy flavor. Kinda bland & not enough Bun Bo Hue meats. For a new restaurant though, it's pretty decent! I still recommend it because I know Chin will listen to the opinions & always strive to make it right & make it better! Thank you, Chin! See you next time!!

Their food was very tasty. I highly recommend you try Pha Lau. They have the best Pha Lau in OC. I also have Hainan chicken, it was very good. Their price is fair also. Will be coming back over and over again

I love how all the dishes reminded me of Saigon. I recommend phá lấu and ốc len xào dừa. I also like the neat and kind service. The rave music was a bit too much for me to handle and that's the only thing I have to take back one star. Overall, great restaurant for Saigon street food.
